Hours of Operation
The DPW Drop-Off Facility is open to residents during the following hours:
- Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Every third Saturday of the month: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (excluding holidays or holiday weekends)
- Two Saturdays a month from April through October (excluding August and September): 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Accepted Items
The DPW Drop-Off Facility accepts a wide range of items, including:

Proof of Residency
To gain access to the DPW Drop-Off Facility, residents must show proof of residency. Acceptable forms of proof include:

Safety Guidelines
For the safety of our employees and patrons, the following policies are in effect:
- Masks or face coverings are not required at this time.
- Patrons will enter the yard through the main gate on Commonwealth Drive and exit through the rear gate to Gravelly Hollow Road.
- Patrons will provide their ID to the yard attendant for residency verification.
- Patrons will obey the 5 MPH speed limit while in the yard.
- Residents who do not comply with these rules will be denied entry.
Bulk Trash Collection
In addition to the DPW Drop-Off Facility, Medford Township offers a curbside bulk trash collection service. This service is available to residential properties twice a month, either on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday or the 2nd & 4th Wednesday. Residents must schedule a pick-up in advance by calling (609) 654-6791, ext. 316 or 322, or by using the Citizen Service Request program on the township website.
Restrictions and Exclusions
Please note that there are some restrictions and exclusions to the bulk trash collection service, including:
- Construction debris
- Large exercise equipment
- Recyclables (televisions, computers)
Donation Options
Residents are encouraged to consider donating usable items to local charities such as Goodwill or Purple Heart. There are also several social media groups and websites where residents can sell or give away unwanted items.
