The operational hours for all Monroe County dump locations are:
- Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Closed: Tuesday & Thursday
What Can I Dispose of at the Dump?
The Monroe County dumps accept a variety of household waste and recyclable materials, including:
- Household waste: Trash, garbage, and other household waste
- Recyclables: Paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, and glass
- Yard waste: Grass clippings, leaves, and branches
- Construction and demolition debris: Wood, metal, drywall, and concrete
- Electronics: Computers, TVs, and other electronic devices
- Appliances: Refrigerators, stoves, and other appliances
- Tires: Up to 4 tires per household per year
Fees
There are no fees to dispose of household waste or recyclables at the Monroe County dumps. However, there are fees for disposing of certain other materials, such as construction and demolition debris, electronics, appliances, and tires.
