JRDA Landfill Hours

The JRDA Landfill is located south of Highway 132 on Sheeplane Road. Its operating hours are as follows:

Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Closed: Sundays and Holidays

Landfill Fees

The landfill charges a fee of $3.50 per cubic yard or a minimum fee of $10.00. Prices double for waste originating from out-of-county.

Accepted Waste Types

The JRDA Landfill accepts the following types of waste:

Household Waste: Refrigerators, freezers, couches, chairs, bed frames, box springs, mattresses, headboards, drawers, tables, water heaters, stoves, TVs, radios, computers, VCRs, toys, paper, plastic, cardboard, food, foams, rubber, metal, and electronic components.
Construction & Demolition Waste: Packaging and rubble resulting from construction, bricks, concrete, soil, asphalt, rock, lumber, pallets, crates, rebar, flooring, carpet, pad, sheetrock, roofing, insulation, windows, siding, fencing, and empty buckets or tubes holding less than 10% of materials such as paint, adhesives, solvents, and sealers.
Plant Life: Brush, branches, clippings, leaves, grass, weeds, chips, and plants.

Additional Information

All waste must be separated and dumped in designated areas.
No hazardous waste is accepted.
No discharging of firearms is allowed.
No liquids or tires of any kind are accepted.
No salvaging is permitted.
No vehicles without a title are accepted.
No batteries or propane tanks are accepted.
No commercial loads are accepted on Saturdays.
All loads must be secured. Loads that are not secured will be charged double fees.
All loads are subject to rejection.

Payment Options

You can purchase a dumping permit from the Juab County Clerk/Auditor or pay with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover only) at the landfill.
