Ocean City Dump Hours: Everything You Need to Know

Ocean City’s Solid Waste Division provides a convenient way for residents to dispose of large household items and yard debris. The Spring Clean Up service is offered annually, and the city also operates a transfer station with extended hours during the summer months.

Spring Clean Up Service

The Spring Clean Up service runs from March 1st to May 15th. During this time, residents can place large household items, such as furniture, appliances, bicycles, carpet, and yard debris, at the curb for collection. The maximum diameter of tree limbs accepted is three inches.

Important:

• This service is only available to residents.
• Commercial properties are not eligible.
• Full-size trees or large demolition/remodeling projects will not be collected.

Transfer Station Hours

The Ocean City Transfer Station is located at 204 65th St., Ocean City, Maryland 21842. The hours of operation are as follows:

Winter (October 10th – May 12th)

• Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Summer (May 13th – October 7th)

• Monday – Saturday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Fees

A collection fee is imposed for commercial establishments requiring collection more than five times per week. The fee is $100 per additional pickup per site visit, regardless of container size.

Other Information

• Containers must be placed at the curbside by 6:00 AM on the day of collection.
• Containers must be placed back to the edge of the building by 6:00 PM the same day.
• Yard debris and shrubs are permitted, but the maximum diameter of tree limbs accepted is three inches.
