The Orleans Transfer Station is located at 56 Lots Hollow Road, Orleans, MA 02653.

Hours of Operation:

• Summer Season (6/15/23 – 9/7/23):
  • Thursday – Tuesday
  • 7:30 am to 3 pm
  • Closed Wednesdays
• Off-Season (9/8/23 – 6/19/24)
  • Friday – Tuesday
  • 7:30 am to 3 pm
  • Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays

• Auto and rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cad)
• Books
• Brush, yard waste
• Clothing, textiles, shoes, linens
• Corrugated cardboard
• Dry empty paint cans
• Electronics, printers, televisions, computers, and monitors
• Empty cans
• Empty fire extinguishers and propane tanks
• Fluorescent tubes and compact light bulbs
• Glass (mixed, colored, and clear)
• Metals
• Newspapers, magazines, junk mail
• Paperboard, chip board boxes
• Plastics (1 to 7)
• Used oil, used oil filter, antifreeze

Fees:

• Orleans residents: Free
• Non-Orleans residents: $15 per visit

Additional Information:

• The Transfer Station accepts household hazardous waste on the first Saturday of each month from 9 am to 1 pm.
• The Transfer Station also offers a composting program. Residents can purchase Earth Machine Compost Bins for $65 at the Transfer Station.
