Acceptable Items at the Parkton Dump
The Parkton collection site accepts a wide range of household waste and recyclable materials. Here’s a list of what you can bring:

- Cleaned plastic pesticide containers
- Plastics with the #1 or #2 recycling symbol
- Aluminum (only accepted at the Sanchez site)
- Anti-freeze
- Tires (up to 4 per customer per week, no tractor or trailer tires)
- Electronics (computers, TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, etc.)
- Metal (no paint cans, glass, wood, or plastic)
- Oil filters (must be drained)
- Food/beverage cartons, cardboard, and paper (flattened, no Styrofoam or plastic)
- Swap shop items (clothing on racks, no furniture)
- Completely dry paint cans
Unacceptable Items at the Parkton Dump
To ensure the safety and proper disposal of waste, the Parkton collection site cannot accept the following items:
- Yard debris (leaves, limbs, etc.)
- Truck and tractor tires
- Construction and demolition waste
- Burn barrels
- LCID, land clearing inert debris, stumps, and trees
- Hazardous waste
- Unknown products
- Poison, herbicides, or pesticides
