Accepted and Not-Accepted Items
The convenience centers accept a wide range of trash and recyclables, including:
- Accepted Trash: Household trash, yard waste, construction debris, appliances, furniture, electronics, and tires.
- Accepted Recyclables: Cardboard, paper, plastic bottles and jugs, aluminum cans, and glass bottles and jars.
There are certain items that are not accepted at the convenience centers, such as:
- Hazardous waste, including batteries, paint, and chemicals.
- Medical waste, including syringes and needles.
- Radioactive waste.
- Explosives.
- Flammable liquids.
- Asbestos.
