Bulky Waste: Items that are too big for your trash can are called bulky waste. For example, mattresses, sofas, and bookshelves. Bulky waste is accepted at all four locations. A transportation fee of an average of $5 per item is applied at 3 locations: Westside, M.L. King, and McGaughey Chapel. There are no fees for bulky items delivered to the Old Dixie Hwy. location.

Home Remodeling Debris or Construction / Demolition Waste: All construction or home remodeling waste is ONLY accepted at the Old Dixie Hwy. Landfill.

Household Hazardous Waste: Visit the Old Dixie Hwy. Landfill & Convenience Center on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm to properly dispose of hazardous products you may have at home such as: paint, paint thinner, cleaning chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, swimming pool chemicals, and aerosol cans.
