Residential Trash Collection
Residential areas in Harlingen receive garbage collection twice a week, ensuring residents have frequent and convenient waste removal. The city has strategically divided collection areas to balance workloads and optimize collection routes, making the process more efficient.
Commercial Trash Services
Commercial establishments benefit from even more frequent trash pickup, with services available up to six times per week. Restaurants, in particular, can receive collection services on all holidays, while other commercial establishments have modified holiday schedules.
Brush Collection Services

New Trash Pick Up Routes
Starting recently, the City of Harlingen has implemented a new trash pickup schedule that divides the city into two primary routes:

- West Route
Residents are advised to have their bins out by 7 a.m. on their designated collection day.
