Chesapeake Transfer Station Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (all SPSA residential customers)
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Chesapeake residents only)
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Chesapeake residents only)

The Chesapeake Transfer Station accepts a wide variety of waste materials, including:

Fees

There is a fee to dispose of waste at the Chesapeake Transfer Station. The fee is based on the weight of the waste.

• Residential customers: $76 per ton, with a minimum charge of $20
• Commercial customers: $86 per ton, with a minimum charge of $25

Residential customers must provide proof of residency in order to drop off waste at the Chesapeake Transfer Station. Acceptable forms of proof of residency include:
