Chesapeake Transfer Station Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (all SPSA residential customers)
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Chesapeake residents only)
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Chesapeake residents only)
What You Can Bring to the Chesapeake Transfer Station
The Chesapeake Transfer Station accepts a wide variety of waste materials, including:

Fees
There is a fee to dispose of waste at the Chesapeake Transfer Station. The fee is based on the weight of the waste.
- Residential customers: $76 per ton, with a minimum charge of $20
- Commercial customers: $86 per ton, with a minimum charge of $25
