Marshall County Convenience Center Locations and Hours
Marshall County operates four convenient centers for waste disposal:
- Convenience Center #1: 2200 Highway 99, Chapel Hill, TN 37034
- Convenience Center #2: 3026 Old Columbia Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091
- Convenience Center #3: 1936 Fayetteville Highway, Belfast, TN 37019
- Convenience Center #4: 4050 Ostella Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091
All four convenience centers share the following hours of operation:
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:50 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:50 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:50 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:50 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:50 PM
The centers are closed on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Accepted Materials
The Marshall County Convenience Centers accept a wide range of materials, including:
- Bagged household garbage
- Oversized items (furniture, rugs, mattresses, etc.)
- Scrap metal
- Refrigerators, washers, and other appliances
- Recyclables (used oil, tin cans, aluminum cans, plastic bottles #1 and #2, newspaper, and cardboard)
Materials Not Accepted
The convenience centers do not accept the following materials:
- Commercial/business waste
- Tires
- Liquid or hazardous waste
Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
Marshall County accepts certain types of household hazardous waste at its facility located at 611 Hawkins Drive, Lewisburg, TN 37091. The accepted materials include:
- Used paint
- Used tires
- Used oil
- Used antifreeze (max. 5 gallons)
These materials are only accepted during the facility’s business hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Tire Disposal Fees
The Marshall County Convenience Centers charge the following fees for tire disposal:
- Auto Tires: $2.50 per tire
- Tractor, Semi, and Larger Tires: $7.50 per tire
