Creston Landfill Hours of Operation
The Creston Landfill is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The landfill is closed on all Statutory Holidays.
Fees
The Creston Landfill charges weight-based fees for waste disposal. The current fees are as follows:
- Residential waste: $125 per tonne
- Commercial waste: $150 per tonne
- Organic waste: $75 per tonne
- MARR waste: Free
- Yard & Garden Waste: Free (April and October only)
What Materials Are Accepted?
The Creston Landfill accepts a wide range of materials, including:
- Household waste
- Commercial waste
- Organic waste
- MARR waste
- Yard & Garden Waste
Other Services
In addition to waste disposal, the Creston Landfill also offers the following services:
- Satellite Depot Recycling Facility: This facility accepts paper & cardboard, plastic & metal containers, and glass.
- MARR Facility: This facility recycles most residential major appliances for free.
- Reuse Centre: This center allows residents to drop off household items that are still in working condition and can be reused by others.
