The New Gretna dump, officially known as the Bass River Township Convenience Center, is located at 53 South Maple Avenue in New Gretna, New Jersey. The dump is open to Bass River Township residents only and requires a current year vehicle sticker to enter.
Dump Hours
The dump is open on the following days and times:
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM
- Thursday: 12:00 PM – 4:45 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Accepted Materials
The dump accepts the following materials:
- Household trash
- Bulky materials such as furniture
- Metals
- Electronics
- Small brush and limbs (no larger than 3″ in diameter)
- Just about everything with the following exceptions:
- No construction debris
- No hazardous materials or paints
- No biohazard materials (i.e., needles, blood)
- No propane tanks
- No tires
- No grass clippings or leaves
Fees
There is no fee to use the dump for Bass River Township residents. However, a vehicle sticker is required and can be obtained by completing the sticker application.
