Dump Hours
The Town of Dartmouth Transfer Station is open to the public during the following hours:
- Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 am to 3:15 pm
- Saturday: 7:30 am to 2:45 pm
Accepted Materials
The Transfer Station accepts a wide range of materials, including:
- Trash
- Recyclables (bottles, cans, paper, cardboard)
- Bulky items
- Yard waste
- Electronics
- Hazardous waste

Fees
There is a fee for disposing of trash at the Transfer Station. The fee is based on the weight of the trash.
- Up to 200 pounds: $10
- 201 to 400 pounds: $20
- 401 to 600 pounds: $30
- Over 600 pounds: $40
Bulky Item Program
The Town of Dartmouth offers a Bulky Item Waste Program for residents who need to dispose of large items that cannot be placed in their regular trash bins. Items that are accepted for the program include:
- Furniture
- Appliances
- Mattresses
- Box springs
- Tires
- Electronics

Recycling
The Town of Dartmouth offers a curbside recycling program for residents. Participating residents are provided with two carts: one for bottles and cans, and one for paper and cardboard.
