Dump Locations and Hours in Kitchener Waterloo
The Region of Waterloo operates two waste management sites (transfer stations) where residents can drop off various types of waste. Fees apply for all loads. Our locations only accept waste that has been generated within Waterloo Region. Waste from other municipalities is not allowed.

Fees for Waste Disposal
The Region of Waterloo charges a minimum fee of $12 for all loads dropped off at its waste management sites. Some exemptions apply. Loads over the $12 minimum will be charged at the rates listed below. The $12 fee covers up to 120 kilograms of garbage or 240 kilograms of recyclables.
- Garbage: $12 per load (up to 120 kg)
- Recyclables: $12 per load (up to 240 kg)
- Mixed materials: Charged at the highest rate (e.g., if you have garbage and cardboard, you will be charged the garbage rate)
