Important Reminders

• Sort your items before arriving at the dump to save time.
• Arrive early to avoid line-ups, especially on weekends.
• Bring help to unload your materials if needed. Staff is unable to assist with unloading.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for customers unloading at the landfill tipping face. This includes a hard hat and high-visibility vest/shirt/jacket/suspenders.
• Lift capabilities on trailers or vehicles must not be used at transfer bins due to safety concerns.

• The Saskatoon Regional Waste Management Centre offers a “Sort & Go” program where you can drop off certain items for free, including recycling, small appliances, batteries, oil, antifreeze, electronics, metals, tires, and bikes.
