Souris Dump Location and Hours

The Souris dump, also known as the Waste Transfer Site / Eco-Centre / Recycling Drop-Off, is located at:

The dump is open to residents and ratepayers of Souris-Glenwood only. All others that require waste disposal should contact their local Municipal Corporations.

Summer Hours (April 1 – September 30):

• Monday: 7 am – 11 am
• Wednesday and Friday: 2 pm – 8 pm
• Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm
• Sunday: 1 pm – 5 pm

Winter Hours (October 1 – March 31):

• Monday: 7 am – 11 am
• Wednesday and Friday: 12 noon – 5 pm
• Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm
• Sunday: 1 pm – 5 pm

Accepted Materials at the Souris Dump

The Souris dump accepts a wide range of waste materials, including:

Please note: All Contractors or Commercial construction material must be disposed of at Municipal Waste Management Regional Landfill, located 5 miles north on PTH#250 1.5 miles east. The landfill is restricted to commercial traffic only.

Recycling at the Souris Dump

The Souris dump encourages recycling to reduce waste and protect the environment. The following items are accepted for recycling:

• Boxboard / Cardboard – Please flatten
• Aluminum Cans
• Steel/Tin Cans
• Glass Jars/Bottles
• PET plastic (pop bottles)

• 4, 5 & 7 plastic (polystyrene)
• Juice & Milk Cartons
• Electronic Equipment (TVs, VCRs, Radios, etc)

Smaller items can be put curbside, separate from other recycling materials. Larger items must be taken to the depot drop off.
