Tay Valley Township charges fees for certain types of waste disposal. These fees are as follows:

Additional Information

• Waste Disposal Site Card: All residents must have a Waste Disposal Site Card to access the waste disposal sites. These cards are available at the Township office.
• Bag Tags: Each household is allotted 20 bag tags per year for household waste disposal. Additional tags can be purchased at the Municipal Office.
• Clear Garbage Bags: As of January 1st, 2016, Tay Valley Township only accepts household waste in clear plastic bags.
• Recycling: Tay Valley Township offers a comprehensive recycling program. Acceptable recyclables include consumer plastic containers, glass jars & bottles, metal food cans, cardboard, boxboard, newspapers, magazines, mixed paper, clothing & textiles.
