Astoria Transfer Station Hours

The Astoria Transfer Station is open to the public during the following hours:

• April – September: Monday – Saturday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Closed Sunday)
• October – March: Monday – Saturday, 8 AM – 4 PM (Closed Sunday)

Accepted Items at the Astoria Transfer Station

The Astoria Transfer Station accepts a wide range of items for disposal, including:

The following items are not accepted at the Astoria Transfer Station:

Yard Debris Drop-Off at the Astoria Transfer Station

The Astoria Transfer Station also accepts yard debris for drop-off and composting. Yard debris may consist of leaves, branches, twigs, soils, or plants.

• Fees:
  • No charge (included in service rate) for customers from within the city limits of Astoria, Gearhart, Cannon Beach, or Warrenton (City of Warrenton garbage service customers).
  • All others pay $21.25 per yard.

Household Garbage Drop-Off at the Astoria Transfer Station

The Astoria Transfer Station accepts household garbage for a fee.

• Fees:
  • Minimum charge: $16.00
  • Up to 100 lbs: $16.00
  • 101 to 400 lbs: $29.00
  • 401 to 600 lbs: $42.25
  • 601 to 800 lbs: $55.25
  • 801 to 1,000 lbs: $62.25
  • Over 1,000 lbs: $119 per ton
