Citizen’s Convenience Center Hours
The Citizen’s Convenience Center is open to the public during the following hours:
- Monday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Please note that the center is closed on major holidays.
Accepted Materials
The Citizen’s Convenience Center accepts a wide range of materials for disposal, including:
- Household trash: Garbage, food scraps, packaging
- Yard waste: Grass clippings, leaves, branches
- Construction debris: Wood, drywall, metal
- Electronics: Computers, TVs, cell phones
- Appliances: Refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers
- Furniture: Couches, chairs, tables
- Mattresses and box springs
- Tires: Up to 4 tires per visit
Materials Not Accepted
There are some materials that are not accepted at the Citizen’s Convenience Center, including:
- Hazardous waste: Paint, chemicals, batteries
- Medical waste: Needles, syringes, bandages
- Explosives: Fireworks, ammunition
- Asbestos: Roofing materials, insulation
- Liquid waste: Oil, gasoline, antifreeze
- Propane tanks: Must be empty and have the valve removed
Fees
There is no charge to dispose of most materials at the Citizen’s Convenience Center. However, there is a fee for disposing of the following items:
- Construction debris: $15 per cubic yard
- Tires: $4 per tire
- Mattresses and box springs: $20 each

- The center is staffed by trained attendants who can assist you with unloading and disposal.
