Summer Opening Hours (April 1 – September 30)
- Monday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Autumn/Winter Opening Hours (October 1 – March 31)
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: Closed

Booking an Appointment

Proof of Residency
When visiting the Chichester Recycling Centre, you will need to provide proof of residency in West Sussex. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Current driving license (photo card or paper license)
- Council Tax bill from the current financial year
- Utility bill (gas, electric, or water) less than a year old
- TV license less than a year old
- Letter from HMRC or the Home Office less than a year old
- Current bus pass
- Current disabled parking permit (Blue Badge)

Charges
There are no charges for disposing of most materials at the Chichester Recycling Centre. However, there is a charge for disposing of tires:
- Car, van, and motorcycle tires: £6.00 per tire or part tire
- Commercial tires (large goods vehicles): Not accepted
Vehicle Restrictions
The following vehicles are not permitted to use the Chichester Recycling Centre:
- Multi-axle trailers
- Horseboxes
- Tipper trucks
- Flatbed or dropside trucks
- Luton-type vans
Vehicles over 2.2 meters high are not permitted at this center.
Commercial Vehicles
If you drive a commercial vehicle, you will need to obtain a permit to use the Chichester Recycling Centre. You can apply for a permit here.
