The Ripon Recycling Center is open to the public during the following hours:
- Monday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The Recycling Center is located at 178 Industrial Avenue in Ripon.
Accepted Recyclables
The Ripon Recycling Center accepts the following recyclable materials:
- Cardboard (clean and free of trash)
- TVs and screens
- Plastics
- Glass
- Mixed paper
- Newspaper
- CRV (aluminum cans and plastic bottles)
- Styrofoam
Unacceptable Items
Please do not bring the following items to the Recycling Center:
- Trash or garbage
- Food waste
- Yard waste
- Hazardous materials
- Electronics (see below for disposal options)
Electronics Disposal
The City of Ripon does not accept electronics at the Recycling Center. However, there are several other options for disposing of electronics in Ripon:
- Ecycle Pros: 984 Dexter Way, Ripon, CA 95366. Accepts electronic waste from both residential and commercial customers.
- San Joaquin County Lovelace Transfer Station: 2323 E. Lovelace Road, Manteca, CA 95336. Accepts major appliances and consumer electronics from city and county residents.
- San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility: 7850 South R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, CA 95206. Accepts household hazardous waste, including electronics, from county residents.
Other Disposal Options
In addition to the Recycling Center and electronics disposal options listed above, the City of Ripon also offers the following disposal options:
- Large item pickup: The City of Ripon offers a large item pickup service for bulky items that cannot be disposed of in regular trash cans. To schedule a large item pickup, call (209) 599-2151.
- Yard waste disposal: The City of Ripon offers a yard waste disposal service for grass clippings, leaves, and other yard waste. To sign up for yard waste disposal, call (209) 599-2151.

- The Ripon Recycling Center is closed on all major holidays.
- Please observe all posted rules when visiting the Recycling Center.
- Illegal dumping of trash or garbage at the Recycling Center outside of posted hours is prohibited and may result in a citation.
