Dump Hours
The City of St. Petersburg operates five Brush Sites where residents can drop off select recyclable materials, yard waste, and pick up mulch products. The hours of operation for all brush sites are:
- Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Brush Site Locations
The five brush sites are conveniently located throughout the city:
- 1000 62nd Ave. NE
- 7750 26th Ave. N
- 2500 26th Ave. S
- 4015 Dr. Martin Luther King St. S
- 2453 20th Ave. N
Accepted Materials
Yard Waste:
- Grass
- Leaves
- Tree and shrub trimmings
- Palm fronds
- Limbs
- Logs
Recyclables:
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Plastic bottles and jugs
- Metal cans
- Glass bottles and jars
Other:
- Mulch products (available for free pickup or delivery for a fee)
- Soil builder (available only by delivery for a fee)
Fees
There are no fees for dropping off yard waste or recyclables at the brush sites. However, there is a fee for delivery of mulch products and soil builder.
Additional Information
- Residents must show proof of residency (driver’s license, etc.) at the entrance to each brush site.
- Property owners who hire a business to do yard work must accompany workers to a brush site for yard waste disposal, or complete a Brush Site Consent Form.
- The brush sites are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Other Recycling Sites
In addition to the City Brush Sites, select recyclable materials can be taken to the Pinellas County recycling site or the following locations:
- Crescent Lake – 1320 5th St. N.
- Municipal Marina – 300 2nd Ave. SE.
