Landfill Locations and Hours
The City of Timmins operates several landfill sites throughout the community. The hours of operation for each site vary depending on the season.
Summer Hours (Begins the 3rd Monday in April)
- Deloro Landfill Site (Timmins): Monday to Friday – 8:00AM to 5:45PM, Saturday and Sunday – 8:00AM to 3:45PM
- Tisdale Transfer Site: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday – 10:00am to 6:00pm
- German Township Landfill Site (Kettle Lakes): Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday – 11:00AM to 6:45PM
Winter Hours (Begins the 3rd Monday in October)
- Deloro Landfill Site (Timmins): Monday to Saturday – 8:00AM to 3:45PM, Sunday- CLOSED
- Tisdale Transfer Site: Tuesday, Saturday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- German Township Landfill Site (Kettle Lakes): Thursday and Sunday – 11:00AM to 3:45PM
Fees
Please note that cash will not be accepted as a method of payment at the Deloro Landfill site, debit only.
