The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility is located at 1200 Dye Mill Road, Troy, OH 45373. It is open to Troy residents only. Proof of residency may be required.

The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility accepts the following materials:

• Garden waste / vines / plants (No fruits or vegetables)
• Grass
• Gravel
• Leaves
• Logs
• Rock

• Trees and limbs
• Wood chips

Prohibited Materials

The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility does not accept the following materials:

• Asbestos
• Batteries
• Brick or block
• Commercial Dumping
• Commingled yard waste (with solid waste)
• Concrete
• Construction and demolition debris (Except for the clean untreated wood)
• Containerized bulk liquids
• Dead animals
• Food of any kind
• Hazardous waste
• Infectious waste
• Landscaping timbers and plastic edging
• Painted lumber and pallets
• Painted rock
• Plant pots
• Solid Waste

Fees

There is no fee to use the Dye Mill Road Compost Facility.

Other Information

• The Dye Mill Road Compost Facility is closed on the following holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
• The facility shuts its gates 10 minutes before closing time.
• Mulch is available for sale during disposal hours.
