Cochrane Dump Hours
The Cochrane dump is located at 92 Second Street and is open to the public during the following hours:
- Summer hours (April 1st – September 30th):
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Winter hours (October 1st – March 31st):
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Cochrane Dump Fees
The Cochrane dump uses a weigh scale to collect tipping fees. The fees are as follows:
- Residents:
- Solid Waste (Garbage) – $55.00 per metric ton
- Concrete & Brick – $40.00 per metric ton
- Non Hazardous (approved TCLP) contaminated soil – $50.00 per metric ton
- Asbestos Disposal – $120.00 per metric ton
- Garbage with Blue Box – $240.00 per metric ton
- Garbage with Other Recyclables – $120.00 per metric ton
- Wood (Unpainted & Untreated) – $50.00 per metric ton
- Wood Waste (Brush & Trees) – $40.00 per metric ton
- Vehicle Weight Record – $25.00
- Non-Residents:
- Solid Waste (Garbage) – $110.00 per metric ton
- Concrete & Brick – $80.00 per metric ton
- Non Hazardous (approved TCLP) contaminated soil – $100.00 per metric ton
- Asbestos Disposal – $240.00 per metric ton
- Garbage with Other Recyclables – $240.00 per metric ton
- Wood (Unpainted & Untreated) – $100.00 per metric ton
- Wood Waste (Brush & Trees) – $80.00 per metric ton
- Vehicle Weight Record – $50.00
Cochrane Dump Accepted Materials
The Cochrane dump accepts a wide variety of materials, including:
- Household waste: This includes items such as garbage, food scraps, and recyclables.
