The Colbert County Commission provides daily household garbage pickup services, except on four holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If your normal pickup day falls on one of these holidays, your pickup will be scheduled for the next day.

Roadside Pickup Service

The Colbert County Commission also offers a White Goods Roadside Pickup service for the disposal of household goods such as mattresses, refrigerators, TVs, and washers. To utilize this service, simply place your items at your residential dwelling, adjoining the County right of way. Please ensure that the items do not pose a danger to traffic and that the trucks can easily access them.
