Columbia Township Dump Hours
The Columbia Township Transfer Station is located at 89 Rte 6 and is open to Columbia Residents only. Commercial and non-profit enterprises are not allowed to use the facility.
Transfer Station Hours:
- Wednesday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
What Can I Dispose of at the Dump?
The Columbia Township Transfer Station accepts the following items:
- Household garbage
- Leaves (at no cost)
- One large item per week (furniture, appliances, etc.)
Fees and Permits
To access the Transfer Station, Columbia Residents must purchase a Transfer Station Permit at the Town Hall, Office of the Town Administrator, or Town Clerk’s Office.
Permit Prices:
- Standard permit (2 stickers): $50 per household for non-seniors
- Standard permit (2 stickers): $20 per household for seniors (62 and over)
- Additional stickers: $20 each
Hazardous Materials
The Columbia Transfer Station does not accept Hazardous Materials. Some hazardous materials can be brought to the Willington Transfer Station.
