The Conmee Township Landfill operates on a seasonal schedule, with varying hours during the winter and summer months. Here’s a breakdown of the operating hours:
Winter Hours (October 15th to May 14th)
- Wednesdays: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Saturdays: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Summer Hours (May 15th to October 14th)

Landfill Access and Requirements
To access the Conmee Township Landfill, residents are required to show an ID card with their civic address. This ID is provided by the Township and can be obtained from the Municipal Office. You will also need to present another piece of photo ID with your civic address (Emergency Number). Your ID will be recorded at each visit.
Authorized Users
Although only one ID card will be issued per civic address, residents can record up to four (4) persons who may take their garbage and recycling into the landfill on their behalf. The Landfill Attendant will maintain a list of all authorized users. This includes individuals such as children who may not have ID with a civic address in the Township of Conmee. It is the resident’s responsibility to ensure that the list is kept up-to-date with the Municipal Office.
Landfill Fees
The first ID card is free of charge. However, replacement cards will incur a fee of $25.00.
Waste Disposal Guidelines
The Conmee Township Landfill accepts a wide range of waste materials, including:
- Household garbage
- Recyclables (paper, light cardboard, metal cans, number 1 and number 2 plastics)
- Construction waste (with prior authorization)
- Vacant property cleanup waste (with prior authorization)
