Dump Hours

The Crawford County Solid Waste and Recycling facility is open to the public during the following hours:

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Fees

The following fees apply for disposal at the Crawford County Solid Waste and Recycling facility:

  • Solid Waste: $60.00 per ton, $10.00 minimum
  • Appliances: $12.00 each
  • Tires:
    • Passenger Vehicle: $5.00
    • Semi Truck: $10.00
    • All other tires: $0.10 per pound
  • Wood Pallets: $60.00 per ton
  • Brush and tree limbs under 6″ diameters: $60.00 per ton
  • Scrap Metal: No charge
  • Yard and Garden Compost/Waste: No charge
  • Waste Oil and Filters: No charge
  • Lead Acid Batteries: No charge
  • Bicycle Recycling Program: No charge
  • Household Hazardous Waste: No charge for residential

Additional Information

  • All loads must be unloaded and paid for 10 minutes prior to closing time.
  • Commercial loads must be completed 30 minutes prior to closing.
  • Vehicles, trailers, and wagons must have their loads secured to prevent littering. A $10 gate fee will be charged for unsecured loads and loads without endgates.
  • Demolition material must be broken down to 3 feet or smaller.
  • No material/lumber longer than 6 feet (couches/doors/other items excluded).
  • Pallets/tires left in the garbage building will have additional charges.
  • Special waste items tonnage rates or fees can change per load.
  • A handling fee of $100/item may apply in addition to the regular fees.
