Brush Dump Hours of Operation
The Cumberland Brush Dump is open seasonally, typically from April to November. The hours of operation vary depending on the time of year:
April, May, June (first two weeks), October, and November
- Monday-Friday: 7:30am to 3:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am to 3:00pm
July, August, and September
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
Closed
- 4th of July weekend
- Labor Day weekend
- The weekend before Thanksgiving
- At the first measurable snowfall
Fees
There are no fees to use the Cumberland Brush Dump. However, residents are asked to bring proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill.

- Grass clippings
Unacceptable Materials
The following materials are not accepted at the Cumberland Brush Dump:
- Household trash
- Construction debris
- Hazardous waste
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Tires
