If you’re looking to dispose of some unwanted items, you’ll need to know the Danbury dump hours. The dump, also known as the transfer station, is located at 307 White Street in Danbury, CT.
Here are the dump hours:
- Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The dump is closed on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Fees:
- A permit is required to use the dump. The cost of a permit is $5.00 per day for non-residents.
- There are also fees for certain items, such as appliances, tires, and mattresses.

You can dispose of most household waste at the dump, including:

What can’t I dispose of at the dump?
There are a few items that you cannot dispose of at the dump, including:
