Edgartown Dump Hours
The Edgartown dump, also known as the Edgartown Transfer Station, is located at 750 West Tisbury Road. It is open to the public during the following hours:
- Sundays: 8 am – 2 pm
- Tuesdays: 8 am – 3:30 pm
- Wednesdays: 8 am – 3:30 pm
- Thursdays: 8 am – 3:30 pm
- Fridays: 8 am – 3:30 pm
- Saturdays: 8 am – 3:30 pm
Please note that the scale is closed 1/2 hour before the end of the business day.
Edgartown Dump Locations
In addition to the main Edgartown Transfer Station, there are three other drop-off centers located in Aquinnah, Chilmark, and West Tisbury. These drop-off centers are open during the following hours:
- Aquinnah:
- Sundays: 10 am – 4 pm
- Thursdays: 8 am – 2 pm
- Saturdays: 9 am – 1 pm (summer only)
- Chilmark:
- Sundays: 1 pm – 4 pm (winter), 1 pm – 5 pm (summer)
- Wednesdays: 8 am – 4 pm (winter), 8 pm – 5 pm (summer)
- West Tisbury:
- Sundays: 8 am – 12 pm
- Tuesdays: 8 am – 4 pm
- Saturdays: 8 am – 4 pm
Accepted Materials
The Edgartown dump accepts a wide range of materials, including:

Fees
There is a small fee for disposing of household garbage at the Edgartown dump. The fee is based on the weight of the garbage.
