Edisto Dump Hours

The Edisto Convenience Station is located at the corner of Holmes and Murray Streets and offers the following hours of operation:

  • Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Note: The walk-in gate is open 24/7.

Accepted Materials

The Edisto Convenience Station accepts the following materials:

  • Household garbage
  • Yard debris (must be bundled)
  • Bulk trash
  • Recyclables (see below for details)

Prohibited Materials:

The convenience station does not accept waste from businesses. Additionally, the following items are prohibited:

  • E-waste (electronics)

Recyclables can be brought to the Convenience Station during operating hours. Aluminum cans can also be placed in the trailer outside the convenience station 24 hours a day. Funds received from recycling aluminum cans support MUSC’s Burned Children Fund.

In addition to waste disposal and recycling, the Edisto Convenience Station also offers the following services:

  • Roll-in, roll-out garbage containers: Lyons Contracting provides this service for a monthly fee of $8.00 per container.
  • E-waste disposal: E-waste is banned from the convenience station and waste receptacles. A list of retailer and manufacturer recycling programs for computers, printers, televisions, cell phones, and other unwanted electronics can be found here.

  • Republic Services is the Town contractor for residential curbside garbage collection. Residents may call Republic at (843) 873-4810.
  • Loose yard debris must be bundled and placed at the curb in accordance with the Town Ordinance.
