Directions to the Jack Ass Gulch Transfer Station
The Jack Ass Gulch Transfer Station is located at Jackass Gulch Road (before Pearl Road), Emmett, ID 83617. To get to the facility, take I-84 to Exit 101 (Emmett). Then, head north on Highway 16 for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Jackass Gulch Road and the transfer station will be on your right.

In addition to the information provided above, here are some additional things to keep in mind when visiting the Jack Ass Gulch Transfer Station:
- You will need to provide proof of Gem County residency in order to receive a landfill sticker.
- The landfill sticker will expedite service and ensure that you are not charged as an out-of-county customer.
- The sticker will be required to be affixed to your windshield on the driver’s side either on the upper or lower corner.
- The transfer station does not accept hazardous waste, tractor tires, semi (truck) tires, campers, boats, or trailers.
- Absolutely no wet paint, fuel, or fertilizer is accepted.
