The Fellsmere Convenience Center accepts a wide range of items, including:

• Residential Household Garbage: Trash, recyclables, yard waste under 3 inches in diameter and 4 feet long, household hazardous materials
• White Goods/Large Appliances: Stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, etc.
• Tires: Small auto tires only (limit 2)
• Batteries: Household and automobile batteries
• Scrap Metal: Steel, iron, and aluminum
• Used Motor Oil: Filters and antifreeze
• Paint Cans: Not exceeding 5 gallons
• Sharps: In closed containers

• Heavy equipment tires
• Animals (+100 lbs.)

Chargeable Items:

Certain items require a fee for disposal at the Fellsmere Convenience Center:

• Land Clearing Debris: $22.00 per ton
• Construction & Demolition: $31.80 per ton
• Heavy Equipment Tires: $20.00 each
• Automobile Tires (4-max): $2.00 each
• Animals (+100 lbs.): $50.00 each
• Animals (-100 lbs.): $5.00 each

Fees Calculation:

Fees for chargeable items are calculated based on the weight of the load. Upon entering the convenience center, you will weigh in on the inbound scale. After unloading, you will weigh out on the outbound scale and receive a weigh ticket with the total fee.

• Loads over 100 cubic feet are not accepted due to limited space.
• Please rinse containers and remove caps before disposal.
• The convenience center accepts personal checks or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) with proper I.D.
