Trash Pick Up Schedule in Fort Worth

Fort Worth offers residential curbside garbage pickup once per week, with collections taking place Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Residents must ensure their carts are placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on their scheduled collection day, with the option to set out carts after 6 p.m. the night before.

Residential Trash Collection Options

The city provides three cart size options to accommodate different household needs:

1. 64-gallon cart:

   • Ideal for 1-2 person households
   • $17.50 per month
   • Maximum weight: 200 pounds

2. 96-gallon cart:

   • Ideal for 3-4 person households
   • $22.75 per month
   • Maximum weight: 250 pounds

Important Note: Effective October 1, 2024, 32-gallon carts will no longer be available for new customers.

Recycling Services
