Gates County NC Trash Dump Hours and Locations

If you’re a resident of Gates County, North Carolina, and need to dispose of trash, there are a few convenient options available to you. The Gates County Landfill is open to the public, and there are also several convenience sites located throughout the county.

Gates County Landfill

The Gates County Landfill is located at 759 Perry’s Bridge Rd. in Belvidere. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. The landfill accepts household waste, construction and demolition debris, and yard waste. Fees vary depending on the type of waste being disposed of.

Convenience Sites

There are five convenience sites located throughout Gates County. These sites accept household waste, recyclables, yard waste, scrap metal, appliances, furnishings, motor oil, oil filters, and antifreeze. Swap shops are also available at each site.

• Gates Convenience Site: 497 Water Plant Road, Gates
• Hobbsville Convenience Site: 1304 NC 32 South, Gates
• Sunbury Convenience Site: 289 NC 32 North, Sunbury
• Belvidere Convenience Site: 200 Sandy Cross Road, Belvidere

The convenience sites are open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. They are closed on Tuesdays.

Fees

There are no fees to dispose of household waste at the convenience sites. However, there are fees for disposing of construction and demolition debris and yard waste at the landfill.
