Hours of Operation
The Greenville Transfer Station and Recycling Center is open to the public during the following hours:
- Sunday: 8am – 4pm
- Monday: 8am – 4pm
- Thursday: 8am – 4pm
The Transfer Station is closed on all major holidays.
Fees
There are no fees to dispose of household waste at the Greenville Transfer Station. However, there are fees for disposing of certain other materials, such as:
- Tires: $4.00 per tire for tires smaller than a tractor-trailer tire, $10.00 per tire for tires equal to or larger than a truck tire, and $90.00 per tire for skidder tires.
- Construction and demolition debris (CDD): $150 per ton for bulk loads containing shingles, sheetrock, or pressure-treated wood.
- Appliances with Freon: $10.00 each
- TVs or CRTs: $5.00 each
