Halifax Recycling Center Hours
The Halifax Recycling Center is located at 917 Plymouth Street, Halifax, MA 02338. The hours of operation are as follows:

- Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Bulky waste items, such as furniture, appliances, and mattresses, cannot be disposed of in regular trash bins. Residents of Halifax can schedule a bulky waste pickup by calling All State Waste at (508) 807-4646. There is a fee for this service.
Yard Waste Disposal
Yard waste, such as grass clippings, leaves, and branches, can be disposed of at the Halifax Recycling Center during the following hours:
- April 1st – November 30th: Saturdays, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- December 1st – March 31st: Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hazardous Waste Disposal
Hazardous waste, such as chemicals, paints, and batteries, cannot be disposed of in regular trash bins or at the Recycling Center. Residents of Halifax can dispose of hazardous waste at the following locations:
- Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day: The town of Halifax holds a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day once a year. Residents can bring their hazardous waste to the designated collection site on the specified date.
- Cape Cod Cooperative Extension: The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension offers a hazardous waste drop-off program for residents of Barnstable County. Residents can drop off their hazardous waste at the designated drop-off location during the specified hours.
