Additional Information

  • A Residential Disposal Permit is required to dispose of waste at all Kent County drop-off centers.
  • Coupons will not be accepted detached or if presented without a cover.
  • The Recycling Attendant will tear out/hole punch the appropriate number of tickets required for the vehicle size/material being hauled into the drop-off center.
  • All customers must have a disposal permit/sticker affixed to the exterior of the vehicle’s windshield at the lower corner of the driver’s side.
  • A coupon is required for each vehicle load of household garbage, trash, and refuse.
  • Customers delivering 1-3 bags of trash (kitchen size bags up to 13 gal.) will not have a coupon removed, but will have a hole punched in one (1) coupon. When the customer returns, the Attendant will remove the coupon with the previously punched hole.
  • Recyclables can be dropped off at any of the recycling centers without a coupon or disposal permit.
