The Killingly Transfer & Recycling Center is open to all Killingly residents and is located on 246 Brickhouse Road. The facility is open Thursday & Saturday from 8:00am to 3:15pm (arrive by 3:00pm) and is closed holidays.

Permits

PERMITS ARE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE TRANSFER STATION. *NO PERMIT REQUIRED FOR ELECTRONICS *

Yearly permits are $80 ($40 for seniors and disabled) and can be purchased in the Revenue Dept. in the Town Hall.  Three-Visit Passes are also available to residents for $20.00 and can be bought at the Transfer Station or in the Revenue Dept. at the Town Hall. There is no limit on the number of Passes purchased. Please be aware passes are are valid from July 1st to June 30th of the current fiscal year.  All other fees apply. 

If you sell, trade-in or dispose of your vehicle, you must remove the sticker and return it to the Revenue Collector’s Office in Town Hall, along with the new registration, for a replacement sticker at no cost.

Fees

• Stickers is $5.00 each.
• Bulky waste items can be disposed of at a cost of $.10 per lb and are be paid for at the time of disposal. You must have a Yearly Permit or a 3-Visit Pass to utilize this option. 
• There is no fee for recyclables.
