Refuse & Recycling Pickup
In La Crescent, MN, refuse (garbage) is collected every Wednesday by Hilltopper Refuse & Recycling Service, Inc. To utilize this service, you do not need to register or contact anyone. Simply purchase specially marked “City of La Crescent” bags and place them on the curb/alley for pick up. These bags can be purchased at various locations within the city, including City Hall, Quillins, both Kwik Trip stores, and Pump 4 Less.
Effective January 1, 2024, the price for a garbage bag of 10 will be $29.00.

Residential Clean Sweep Event

One voucher per resident, per year, can be obtained from the Environmental Services Department.
