Lakeville Dump Hours of Operation

What Materials Are Accepted at the Lakeville Dump?

The Lakeville dump accepts a wide variety of materials, including:

  • Batteries: NiCd batteries, rechargeable batteries (non-NiCd), lead acid batteries
  • Bulky waste: Household furniture, mattresses, linoleum, construction wood products, pallets, porcelain products, shingles, windows, non-recyclable plastic & glass products
  • Electronics: Computer products, electronics, televisions, and computer monitors
  • Glass: Good grade brown, green, and clear glass (narrow-necked food grade only)
  • Household hazardous waste: Florescent light bulbs, mercury-containing items, spent needles (sharps)
  • Metal: Aerosol cans, aluminum cans, aluminum foil, ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, propane tank recycling, tin or steel cans, white goods (non-reusable large appliances)
  • Paper: Brown paper bags, cardboard, catalogs, drink boxes, aseptic containers, magazines, milk & juice containers, mixed paper, newspaper, paperboard, shredded paper, telephone books, white office paper
  • Plastic: #1 plastic (PET), #2 (HDPE Colored) narrow-necked and food grade only rigid plastic. All other plastic material, resin lawn furniture, plastic kid’s toys, tubs such as margarine and yogurt containers, cake covers and trays.
  • Textiles: Clothing donation boxes
  • Yard waste: Grass clippings & leaves (free from sticks and rocks), tree trimmings, weeds, Christmas trees (10” maximum diameter for branches), & potted plants
  • ABC: Asphalt, brick, & concrete may be taken in small quantities (See Attendant)

How to Get to the Lakeville Dump

The Lakeville dump is located at 100 Kenneth Welch Drive, Lakeville, MA 02347.

To get to the dump from Route 24, take Exit 17 (Route 105). Turn left onto Route 105 and follow it for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Kenneth Welch Drive and the dump will be on your left.
