The Laramie Landfill and Recycling Center is open:

  • Monday through Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Closed Sundays and some holidays

The Laramie Landfill and Recycling Center also accepts tires for a fee. The fees for tires are as follows:

Auto and light truck tires $4.00 each
Heavy truck and light industrial tires $10.00 each
Heavy equipment tire $75.00 each
Mounted, solid or foam filled Double the fee

What You Need to Know:

  • The Laramie Landfill and Recycling Center is located at 162 Roger Canyon Road in Laramie, Wyoming.
  • The landfill accepts cash, check, credit cards (Discover, Visa, or MasterCard), and account customers.
  • To set up an account, please call Utility Billing at 721-5200.
  • The landfill requires all loads to be covered and/or secured. A $10 per ton fee is charged to loads that do not meet this requirement.
  • The landfill offers a compost program for drop-off of green waste.
  • The landfill also offers a recycling program for drop-off of glass, metal, tires, batteries, refrigerators, and single-stream recycling (cardboard, paper, plastics #1 & #2 in the shape of a bottle jar or jug, metal cans, etc.).
