Layton Dump Hours of Operation

The Layton dump is open to the public during the following hours:

• Summer hours (April 1 – October 31): Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Winter hours (November 1 – March 31): Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The dump is closed on Sundays and holidays.

What Materials Are Accepted at the Layton Dump?

The Layton dump accepts a wide variety of materials, including:

How to Get to the Layton Dump

The Layton dump is located at 1997 East 3500 North in Layton, Utah. To get to the dump, take I-15 to Exit 332 (Layton Parkway). Then, head east on Layton Parkway for about 2 miles. The dump will be on your left.

Fees

There is a fee to dispose of waste at the Layton dump. The fee is based on the weight of the waste. The current fees are as follows:

• Household waste: $10 per ton
• Construction and demolition debris: $25 per ton
• Hazardous waste: $50 per ton

Please note that there is a minimum fee of $10 for all loads.

Landfill Winter Hours

The landfill winter hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. The landfill is closed on Sundays and holidays.

Thrift Store

The thrift store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm during the summer hours (April 1 – October 31) and from 10 am to 5 pm during the winter hours (November 1 – March 31). The thrift store is closed on Sundays and holidays.

Administrative Offices

The administrative offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The administrative offices are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
