Convenience Centers
Lebanon, TN, has several convenience centers where residents can dispose of their household waste. These centers are open during the following hours:
- Friday through Tuesday: 7 am to 5 pm
- Wednesday and Thursday: 7:30 am to 5 pm
Note: The convenience centers are closed on major holidays.
Acceptable Items at Convenience Centers
The convenience centers accept a wide range of household waste items, including:

- Hazardous materials (paint, oil, fuel tanks, propane tanks, etc.)
- Brush, limbs, grass, shrubs, or wire
- Construction or remodeling waste (drywall, lumber, brick, blocks, rocks, dirt, or roofing shingles)
- Large loads: Limit of 10 bags of kitchen waste or 3 cubic yards of bulky waste
- Scavenging is not allowed
Landfill
The Wilson County Landfill is located at 378 Dump Road, Lebanon, TN 37087. The landfill is open during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7 am – 3 pm
Note: All loads must be checked into the scale house 30 minutes prior to closing.
Landfill Fees
The landfill charges tipping fees for waste disposal. The fees are as follows:
- Landfill tipping fees: $18 per cubic yard
- Construction/Demo Waste: $18 per cubic yard
- Shingles: $100 per ton
- Residential Yardwaste (small): $5 per cubic yard
