Medford Dump Hours
The Medford Township DPW Drop-Off Facility is open to residents for the disposal of household trash, recyclables, wood, leaves, brush, electronics, paint, and motor oil. The facility is located at 2 Commonwealth Drive (off of Gravelly Hollow Road behind Bob Meyer Park).
Hours of Operation:
- Monday through Friday: 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Every third Saturday of each month: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (excluding holidays or holiday weekends)
- Two Saturdays a month from April through October on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, with the exception of the months of August and September (see below for specific dates)

Accepted Materials
The Medford Township DPW Drop-Off Facility accepts a wide variety of materials, including:
- Household trash
- Recyclables
- Wood
- Leaves
- Brush

- Motor oil
Fees
There is no charge to dispose of household trash or recyclables at the Medford Township DPW Drop-Off Facility. However, there are fees for the disposal of certain other materials, such as:
- Loose Material: $28.20 minimum for 1½ cubic yards or less, $18.80 per cubic yard of additional material
- Compacted Materials: $43.60 per cubic yard of material
- Compacted Naturals (Dirt/Rock/Sod): $85.60 per cubic yard of material
- Concrete: $108.40 per cubic yard of material
- Yard Debris: $11.40 minimum for 1 cubic yard or less, $11.40 per cubic yard of additional material
Rules and Regulations
There are a few rules and regulations that you must follow when using the Medford Township DPW Drop-Off Facility:
- Residents must show proof of residency to gain access to the disposal areas.
- Patrons will enter the yard through the main gate on Commonwealth Drive and exit through the rear gate to Gravelly Hollow Road.
- Patrons will provide their ID to the yard attendant. Once your address is confirmed, patrons will be directed to the designated disposal area for the items they need to dispose of.
- In an effort to maintain social distancing and allow residents to dispose of their items safely, a limited number of patrons will be allowed at each respective disposal area.
- Residents MUST bring assistance with them to help unload heavy or oversize items. Yard staff will not assist with removing or disposal of any items.
- Residents will obey the 5 MPH speed limit while in the yard.
- Residents who do not comply with these rules will be denied entry.
