Oconto County Dump Hours: Everything You Need to Know
If you’re looking to dispose of waste in Oconto County, it’s important to be aware of the dump hours and regulations. In this article, we’ll provide you with all the information you need to know about Oconto County dump hours, including locations, fees, and accepted materials.
Oconto County Dump Locations and Hours
Oconto County has two dump sites:
- Mar-Oco Landfill
- Location: 5 miles west of Crivitz off County Road A on Shaffer Road
- Hours:
- Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Closed Sundays and holidays
- Riverview Brush Site
- Location: One block west of State Highway 32 on Island Lake Road
- Hours:
- May 1st through November 15th
- Wednesday and Sunday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- May 1st through November 15th
Fees
Fees for dumping at the Mar-Oco Landfill vary depending on the type and amount of waste you’re disposing of. You can find a complete fee schedule on the Oconto County website.
The Riverview Brush Site is free to use for residents of the Town of Riverview. Non-residents may be charged a fee.
Accepted Materials
The Mar-Oco Landfill accepts a wide variety of waste materials, including:
- Household waste
- Construction and demolition debris
- Yard waste
- Scrap metal
- Tires
The Riverview Brush Site only accepts mulch and brush under 6 inches in diameter. No stumps are allowed.
Prohibited Materials
There are some materials that are not allowed to be disposed of at the Mar-Oco Landfill or the Riverview Brush Site. These materials include:
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Radioactive waste
- Explosives
- Flammable liquids

Additional Information
- The Mar-Oco Landfill is a transfer station, which means that waste is not buried on-site. Instead, it is transported to a landfill in another county.
