San Antonio City Dump Locations and Hours

The San Antonio City Dump has four locations:

  • Bitters Bulky Waste Collection Center: 1800 Wurzbach Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78216
  • Frio City Road Center: 1531 Frio City Road, San Antonio, TX 78226
  • Culebra Bulky Waste Collection Center: 7030 Culebra Road, San Antonio, TX 78238
  • Rigsby Road Bulky Waste Collection Center: 2755 Rigsby Road, San Antonio, TX 78222

All four locations are open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.

What Materials Are Accepted at the San Antonio City Dump?

The San Antonio City Dump accepts a variety of materials, including:

  • Auto parts
  • Barbecue grills
  • Cardboard boxes (flattened)
  • Car tires (6 or fewer, no rims)
  • Carpeting
  • Construction material & lumber (1 cubic yard or less)
  • Furniture
  • Glass & mirrors
  • Large appliances
  • Mattresses
  • Sinks, tubs & counter tops
  • Water heaters & AC units

What Materials Are Not Accepted at the San Antonio City Dump?

The San Antonio City Dump does not accept the following materials:

  • Bagged garbage
  • Bed linens
  • Boards longer than 10 ft
  • Brush, leaves & yard waste
  • Clothes
  • Hazardous material
  • Mattresses with blood stains or bed bugs
  • Railroad ties
  • Soil, rocks & concrete
  • Soiled couch cushion with blood or bed bugs
  • Styrofoam
  • Trash
  • Unbagged insulation
  • 275 gal Rebottles IBC tote tank

Fees for Dumping at the San Antonio City Dump

There is no fee to dump at the San Antonio City Dump if you are a residential customer and you pay the City’s environmental fee. However, there is a fee for commercial customers. The fee is based on the weight of the materials being dumped.

Additional Information

  • The San Antonio City Dump is for residential customers only. Commercial customers must use a private waste hauler.
  • You must bring a recent copy of your CPS Energy bill and a photo ID to dump at the City Dump.
  • Bulky items are limited to four cubic yards.
  • Construction debris is limited to one cubic yard.
  • No household trash is accepted.
  • Materials loaded in trucks must not be over the fender wheel of the bed of the truck.
